Directions to Crystal Cove
From I-90 take exit 8 for Route 43 (W. Sand Lake Rd). Take Route 43 east approximately 9.7 miles. Entering Averill Park you will come to a flashing yellow light and Citgo/Jiffe Mart on left. Make a sharp left turn onto County Route 45 (Old Route 66). Crystal Cove is 0.1 mile on your right. Additional parking will be available at St. Henry's Church across the street. Please do not park on Old Route 66.

Parking
Parking will be available at Crystal Cove and St. Henry's Church.  There will be volunteers directing traffic and parking.  Parking is limited so we ask that you follow their directions to ensure there is enough parking for everyone.  We also encourage teams to travel to the triathlon together.  A good place to meet is the Defreestville Park and Ride. This is located on Route 4 just south of the intersection with Route 43.

FAQ 

(Q) Will there be aid stations and where will they be?
(A) There will only be one aid station offering water on the run. There will be no aid stations on the bike portion of the race.

(Q) Will wetsuits be allowed?
(A) Yes.

(Q)Can I practice the course before the race?
(A) Yes. You are welcome to join the Capital District Triathlon Club’s Tuesday night training sessions which uses the same course as the race. These trainings run from June to August.

(Q)Is there day of race registration?
(A) Unfortunately, we cannot offer day of race registration. Registration will be limited and we expect this race to fill up early.
